Blessings

I have had a lot of little blessings in my life as of recent.
{there have been too many to count}

Unfortunately, after you have received an outpouring of blessings, there is a stretch of time where you seem to forget a lot of those things that have happened and a lot of people who have looked out for you.

Once again, you're all alone.

It is precisely at that moment that Heavenly Father takes the time to remind you that you are never alone!
He reaches out and shows you that you haven't been forgotten.

Small, simple acts of kindness are sent your way.

I wish more people knew just how impacting a simple hello could be.  A simple "I'm thinking about you" can turn someone's day a whole 360 degrees.

I wish more people were willing to act on the impressions they receive to reach out to those around them. {including myself}

We have a Heavenly Father, who instead of smacking us on the head and saying, "Hey, look at all the great things I just barely sent your way," He grabs your hand, touches your heart, and reminds you that you are His, and that you are surely loved.

Once again, you feel peace.

Once again, you feel love.

Heavenly Father loves us more than we could ever comprehend; He will never abandon us.

Angels are sent our way each and every day.
{thank you to my Angels}
“We will know of God’s love for us. We will understand that we do not ever walk alone.  I promise you that you will one day stand aside and look at your difficult times, and you will realize that He was always there beside you.”   -- President Thomas S. Monson

Finding Courage

Here's to anyone who's faced with making a serious decision sometime in the near future. I know exactly how scary it can be.  Perhaps you just have trials in your life that seem impossible to beat. All I have to say is believe in yourself, trust in God, and take the step you need to. You will receive the strength that you need if you but only ask for it - angels will be at your aid.  Have faith and remember to pray always. It will get you through the tough days.  I promise, it will be okay in the end.  The road less traveled may appear to be a lonely one, but all things are possible with God.  Have courage.  You will be blessed... more than you can ever imagine.

{The Road Not Taken}
By: Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!! :)

Oh lands!!! Words cannot describe the joy I feel during the season of Halloween.
It is my favorite holiday!!! Don't get me wrong, Christmas is amazing... more than amazing!
But for some reason, I get a warm fuzzy feeling when Halloween comes around.
It might just be the fact that I was born during the Halloween season! Who knows.
Whatever the reason being, I'm a happy camper.
WHICH BRINGS ME TO WALMART.
I got to Walmart last night planning on grabbing a few groceries, when all of a sudden, the Halloween decoration isle stood before me in all its majesty.
It took all my strength not to pick out EVERY SINGLE decoration. I restrained myself to but a few since my mom had already sent me down with a couple items to decorate with.  She is just so thoughtful!
Still, I couldn't resist but a few more items to make me really feel at home..(we always decorate for Halloween and just get super stoked about it at my casa in Rigby!)
So, my friends, this is work and my glory.

As you may notice, there is a candle on my stove, a spider on my counter, some tape on my door, and a picture above my couch.

This is the door to my room!! SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKY :)

This picture is unnecessary, but I just thought it was cool so I put it on here.

My little window stickers and lights and pumpkin with Mr. Potato head-like push on facey thinggy!

I slept like a gem last night because decorating made me so happy.  My glowing orange lights were a beacon of hope and righteousness and all things holy. Word...G...Money.

The glory of Music!

I love music!
Next to facebook, it is the thing single thing that most occupies my time.
When I'm sad, there's a song that fits my feelings almost to a T!  When I'm pumped, there's multiple songs that will make me soooooo excited and HYPER... or make me feel like a gangster. For instance, Look at Me Now by Chris Brown.  Who doesn't like that song? It's freaking SHWEEEEEEET!
The point is, any emotion possible can and will be related to through the glory of music.
I just seem to like Adele a lot lately.
Her music is beautiful!
Turning Tables & Someone Like you are very good ones.
But Man OH Man there are so many options out there!!!
I've also been listening to 3OH!3 radio on Pandora tons too,
and the perfect variety of music comes on... even The Lonely Island.  It's fantastic.
Ke$ha has a pretty good song called the Harold Song that I have become aware of through Pandora..
I also really like Lady Gaga's song You and I... not much of a fan of Lady Gaga's,
but this song is pretty sweet. Just don't watch the music video cause it kinda ruins it.
Thinking of you by Katy Perry is a good one toooo! The music video is a tear jerker!
Katy Perry is just the bomb. Anyone of her songs are good.
Skillet will forever be amazing to me as well as Breaking Benjamin, but not as much as Shinedown!
I can't wait for their next album to come out. Their music is like the mountain dew of my soul.
Anywho, I could go on forever about how great music is and what songs I like at the moment, but
this page would be a mile long.  I just felt I owed music and the amazing people who make it a great big thank you for making my life so much more splendid. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to crank some Pandora and/or Youtube.
The possibilities are endless!

GAME DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is my first
football game as an
 Aggie.
How stoked am I?
Very Stoked.
The game is at 6pm and I was ready by 2pm.
Football is most definitely my favorite sport.
And YES I am trying to find ways to occupy my time until 4pm
which is in fact the tailgate party.
I'm pretty much ready to kick some Weber trash.
GO AGGIES!!!!!!!!!!

the pursuit of blogging

Well Well Well...
It looks like I have a lot of time on my hands here at college.
Henceforth, I am starting a blog to occupy myself in a way that doesn't include eating a million candy bars.
(I was so bored today that I went and bought candy...and pink milk)
But to be honest, I don't even know how to blog. So, I guess we will see how this whole shindig goes. :)
I have to figure it out soon enough, right?
P.S. I really want to watch Hot Rod right now... but unfortunately, I don't own it.
